This Gothic Cuirass is crafted from 16 gauge steel and is composed of a breastplate and backplate that are fitted around the torso with a set of leather straps and adjustable steel buckles. The two main, larger plates of both the breastplate and backplate are articulated; the breastplate has sliding rivets to give the overlapping armor plates some articulation and the backplate has the plates mounted to a leather strap for articulation. The lower fauld plates are also articulated on both the backplate and breastplate. The interior of the armor is blackened to give it some resistance to rust.
