There are a couple of models which require slightly different fitting configuration to avoid the very busy area around the oil filter. Most models are straight forward. The 1KZTE and the LN172-5L-E may need a different fitting to make things easier. Make sure the hose and fittings you use are sound and can not cause accidental oil loss. Ideally, you should fit a foolproof oil pressure loss alarm in diesels when you plumb oil outside the engine. We can supply one. Make sure the cooler and hose have tubing of at least 1/2 diameter capacity. There should be 1/2 capacity throughout the system if you want maximum flow rate.
