A-Frame horizontal roof style with horizontal sides and ends. Vertical roof also available & strongly recommended in heavy snow areas. Center section is 24x31x12 (side height) with 2-10×10 roll-up doors. Sides of center section are not closed in. Attached to center are 2 -10x31x8 lean-to’s each with an 8×7 roll-up door, 6- 24×36 windows & left lean-to has a 36×80 walk-in door. Building is priced with standard 14-gauge frame. 12 g frame available. Concrete bolts are included in most states for slab install. If your building does not fall within the sizes that they cover or if your city/county requires site and/or building specific plans, there will be an additional charge. INSTALLATION SURFACE & SLABS. A concrete slab/pad is not required for most of our buildings (certain larger commercial buildings do require slab or permanent foundation) and we can install right on the ground. The choice is yours to make and we will make sure to anchor properly depending on surface you choose to use. If getting a permit check with your city/county on if you’re required to follow our engineers slab detail. Other examples of installation surfaces include. Gravel or crusher run. Ground install with cement piers. When pouring a slab please note that frame size specified in ALL of our steel structure listings is actually 1 FOOT shorter than stated roof length due to 6 overhang on both sides. 18′ wide x 21′ long building, will have a base length of 18 x 20 and will need a slab size of at least 18′ x 20′. We highly recommend going 6 wider and deeper to prevent cracking of concrete wedge anchors. So ideal slab size for this example building (18 x 21)would be 18.5′ x 20.5′. Footers and depth requirements are typically determined by city/county code so please be sure to check with your local building dept. If you’re not getting a permit, we can assist with suggested width and depth of footers. We REQUIRE a Level Surface for Your Building Within 3. We can always adjust legs to be higher on one side/end if your surface is not level. If you plan on getting a permit than certification is required in order to meet the IBC code requirements. These drawings are generic stamped drawings with seal (no wet seal) and they cover a span of sizes.
